Officially announced at the Mayor’s State of the City Address, plans for big development in the Inlet are underway!
The new “Terraces at Absecon Inlet” will consist of 40 new townhomes. This project will be constructed on Pacific Ave between New Hampshire Ave and the Boardwalk, and is expected to break ground this Spring. An additional project, “Caspian Pointe” will consist of 4 new 4-story apartment buildings and bring 180 new apartment units. This project will be constructed between Gardner’s Basin and the Absecon Inlet Seawall.
The Inlet CDC worked with local artists Gary Lindley and Bob “Nexus” Ortiz to create this vibrant 90′ wide mural on Melrose Plaza. The mural was completed as part of the facade beautification for the entire Plaza.
We had an unforgettable time with the Bungalow Park Civic Association on their Monopoly-themed float at the legendary Atlantic City St Patrick’s day parade!
The Skatepark in Uptown Atlantic City has been completed and has been very popular with the community. The next step is to install the artwork. A community survey was held to determine the best option for painting the skatepark and the vote landed on painting the backs of the ramps and leaving the ground as is.

Our journey begins with the Inlet Revitalization Action Strategy, a resident-driven initiative aimed at enhancing outcomes for both residents and businesses. Through extensive community engagement, including public meetings, focus groups, and individual interviews, we’ve identified critical initiatives to shape the community’s future.
The Inlet CDC is partnered with the Hydrangea Trail 2.0 and Atlantic City Arts Foundation to beautify 14 planter pots for hydrangeas to be placed in front of Inlet small business storefronts. In addition, 10 more pots will gain artwork at Gardner’s Basin. Most pots are completed, see photos of some of the amazing work!
