Ocean Casino Resort, Tropicana Atlantic City, & Inlet CDC Announce Million Donation for Revitalization Efforts

The Inlet Development Community Corporation (CDC) in Atlantic City has received a significant boost for its revitalization efforts, thanks to a generous donation of $950,000 from Ocean Casino Resort, facilitated through the Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit Program (NRTC) of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. This substantial contribution, coupled with an additional $50,000 from Tropicana Atlantic City, totaling $1 million, will fuel the Inlet CDC’s ambitious Atlantic City Inlet NOW! Revitalization Project.

Preparing for
Pickleball

In collaboration with the City of Atlantic City, the Inlet CDC is constructing two new pickleball courts in Altman Playground! Concrete and fencing are now complete, marking a significant milestone in the project. The final phase is well underway, with full completion targeted for mid-November 2024.

“Beneath the Waves”

The Atlantic City Arts Foundation has unveiled its 101st mural,  “Beneath the Waves,” by celebrated artist Susan Daly. Now gracing the facade of Hot Bagels and More at 212 Pacific, this vibrant piece of public art was officially revealed during a ceremony held on October 31st.

Navigating the Inlet Revitalization

Our journey begins with the Inlet Revitalization Action Strategy, a resident-driven initiative aimed at enhancing outcomes for both residents and businesses. Through extensive community engagement, including public meetings, focus groups, and individual interviews, we’ve identified critical initiatives to shape the community’s future.

Projects

Hydrangea Trail & Atlantic City Arts Foundation Planters Project

The Inlet CDC is partnered with the Hydrangea Trail 2.0 and Atlantic City Arts Foundation to beautify 14 planter pots for hydrangeas to be placed in front of Inlet small business storefronts.  In addition, 10 more pots will gain artwork at Gardner’s Basin.  Most pots are completed, see photos of some of the amazing work!
